That sounds great! Your craftsmanship is good - look forward to seeing what you come up with!
The opinion on bonnets in lolita seems to be quite divided, mainly because I think too many people associate them with infants and forget the role the bonnet played in everyday life through the centuries. One problem you find is that many half-bonnets are constructed too heavily at the front so there is not enough to anchor them to the head, and the ribbon (being the main method of securing if there aren't enough clips) chokes at the neck. But not everyone wants a full bonnet! I like the look of this new IW one though: http://innocent-w.jp/shopping/123902/index.html because the back is removable and it has a little inbuilt comb.

Amy, oh no! : ) It's the first one so I knew it wasn't perfect, and I'm glad of your honesty and that you were still willing to wear it anyway! I've been continuing to work on the patterns/testing samples so hopefully there will be more soon. <3

Oh, thank you, Annika. :O Hope I didn't sound too harsh! You should keep making them - I want to keep collecting bonnets!

I'm so happy to have stumbled across this, Amy! I'm glad you like it even still since it was my first prototype for a buckram bonnet! <3 -Annika
